Engineered
to move forward.
Always a work in progress.I’m Prashant. I design mechanical systems
and work on robots that find their own way.
A little
about me.

Mechanics, robotics,
and a lot of figuring things out.
I’m studying mechanical engineering at Mississippi State. My work ranges from designing parts in SolidWorks to getting autonomous vehicles to navigate off-road.
Right now, that means research at CAVS, vehicle integration with EcoCAR, and a few projects of my own.

I’m building.
Perception, simulation, control.
Methods, experiments, and what I learned.
Computer Vision & Robotics Perception
Real-time pose estimation for autonomous mobile robot docking, paired with a vision-based safety interlock.
Synthetic Data & Object Detection
Building a synthetic-data pipeline and object detector for fallen boxes, with a ROS2 inference node in development.
Nonlinear Model Predictive Control
Modeling an inverted pendulum from first principles and developing a constrained nonlinear controller for hardware deployment.
